My condolences to the Douglas family.  I have lost a great co-worker and friend but find peace in knowing the universe has received a new beautiful star.  

I remember Syd when he volunteered at Rogers TV.  Always a good guy.

We are so sorry for your loss. We cannot imagine the pain felt by Sydney's Parents, grandparents, sibling, family and friends, Do take comfort in knowing he was loved. Gone too soon, he is now resting in the arms of the Lord.

He was Kenda's best friend for as long as I can remember and we were lucky enough to watch Sydney grow from a quiet little boy, into a funny, creative, talented young man. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Syd. Sydney was a student of mine in Yearbook at Paul Dwyer and demonstrated an amazing talent for design. He was the main designer for the 2010 cover and whenever I look at that book I think of Syd and share with my classes the great work that he did here in the Media Lab.

I had worked with Sydney at Cineplex, and he became my friend. I would enjoy his presence. He always had a very kind and loving aura. He made me laugh and was nice and caring. I was shocked and saddened by this news. My deepest condolences are with Sydney's family and his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace and we remember his genuine, kind heart. Very sorry.
