Terry Andris Kalnins

July 14, 1964September 28, 2019

KALNINS, Terry Andris July 14, 1964 ~ September 28, 2019 (55 years young) I am heartbroken to announce the passing of my big brother, Terry. Terry was the most unique, creative person ever. He made the good times fun and the bad times bearable. He was always ready with a fun challenge, puzzle or mystery for us to solve. He always made us laugh. I will miss him forever. Terry leaves behind his two fur children Adina and Izzy. He was predeceased by our dad, Andy Kalnins for whom he proudly shared his name “Andris”. He’ll be greatly missed by our mom Marlene (Bob), my big sister Tammy (Blaine) and myself Shelley (Mike). He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Codie, Hunter, McKenna and Caelum who loved him dearly. He was known to them as their “Funkle”. A big thank you to all his friends who helped him through these last few years. He had so many friends but a very special thank you goes to Gloria and Chris for always being there for him. Terry’s wishes were to be cremated with his predeceased kitties. A celebration of life will be soon as he is just too special to let go without a party. Date to follow. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). My memories from the last 25 or so years are beyond what this page can hold. My sweet caring loving friend who has been there through all the good and bad life throws at you. Always there to celebrate what was important in my life and help me find the positive when life was hard and shelter me whenever he could. He enriched my life

My sincerest sympathies to Terry's family and friends. I worked with Terry at Clarica many years ago. He was a kind, thoughtful guy. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

I'm so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He and I met in the early 90's when we both lived at 57 Bridgeport Rd. , Waterloo. He helped me several times, especially when I had to have surgery. For about three or four days he cared for my cats while I was in hospital. During that time he and Paul came to visit me and smiled the whole time! Terry helped me on several other occasions, ALWAYS with a smile. He was one of the sweetest, kindest people I had ever met. Actually he's one of my favorite memories of that address and how sincere he was. Terry will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Again I'm so sorry for your loss. Terry was a wonderful person.
