Olga, we are so sorry to hear of your loss and our heart goes out to your family. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Ted at a few fire stations over my 32 year career as a firefighter in Oshawa. Those times were my fondest memories of the job. Ted was always a joy to be around with his smile and laughter. He will always be remembered.

Worked with Ted (Chop) for several years, he was a pleasure to be with. He was one of the Captains that convinced me to write for Captain as soon as I could.
Condolences to the family.

Olga and Family please accept our condolences on the loss of Ted. He was one of my favourite Captains and great mentor. He was a great family man and was always positive and happy. Great memories of him swimming in our pool growing up and of course around the fire station.

Ted and I were friends at the firehouse, he told my wife who worked at Bank of Montreal , that Oshawa was hiring 8 new guys and I should make sure I get down to apply again right away. I did and got hired in 1976 and had a great career as a firefighter fir 33 yrs. I have now been retired 11 yrs.

RIP Chop, ur buddy. Nelly
