It’s been a while and I’m a little late to leave my post because I spent so many days watching over and over again the video, subconsciously waiting for you to come home from work like I always did as a little girl to brighten my day and put a smile on my face when I seen you pulling down the street. Here I am years later writing this right now because it took me that long to accept  that you’re not here and I spent all these years wishing you were and waiting that you would be. You were a Dad  to me that you didn’t have to be you did it out of your own kind heart like of course you would because that’s just who you were and you were missed and loved beyond words I had another little boy and his middle name is Thomas because I miss you so much and I love you and when I look at him I remember you I love you Tom and I miss you love your stepdaughter

I met Tom many many years ago in Riverdale, and was lucky enough to spend a lot of time jammin' with him in Ontario when he was our beloved "Jean Sister" brother :)  We would get to spend some more time together in Edmonton drinking spanish coffee's at the X-wrecks.  He was a wonderful friend, a great spirit, and while I had not seen him in a few years, he remained always in my heart.  You will be missed "Griff"

Rest in peace "Uncle Tom", I never did meet you but have heard all about you and it is easy to see that you will be greatly missed by all.

My condolences to the Griffin family - "Uncle Tom" was a legend and will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Uncle Tom was my Godfather and I would like to think we had a special bond. Because Uncle Tom was a pipeliner, he made frequent visits to Pickardville.  You never knew when he was coming or how long he would stay.  We loved to listen to him play his guitar. My kids loved Great Uncle Tom.  Uncle Tom had a gift for removing the generation gap.  He was at ease with us when we were little kids and hung out in the driveway when were teenagers.  All our friends know him as Uncle Tom.  He always said to us "You know me, I'm Uncle Tom, and I love you guys," And we loved you too, Uncle Tom.

Anne, Chris and family, our deepest sympathy to you all.  I remember when I was at O'Neil and the "crew" including Tom would all come over to my house at lunchtime, the start of lifelong friendships.  Over 40 years of memories to look back on.  Every time I hear the Grateful Dead I will remember Tom.

I never knew Thomas but when I saw the notice of his passing on local92, I wanted to find out more about him. I live in ontario and I too belong to the brotherhood of the labour union. I am glad to see that he was a wonderful man and is missed by many.

Tom you were my good friend.  The memories I have of you, will always make me smile.  You are gone but will never be forgotten.

I felt great sadness when I was told of Tom's passing. I remember when we where young, hanging around Rammy's basement, up to no good. My condolences to his family and friends.

I never had to question Tom's love. He told me every time he came to visit "you know me, I'm you're brother, I love you. He will be forever loved and never forgotten.

It was with great sadness when i heard "Griff" had passed away. I only had the pleasure of pipelining with Griff for a few years but have some great memories, Griff borrowing a guitar in Manning and singing us a few songs, camping beside him in Brandon for a couple months and spending the evenings together. Going to miss you Griff, rest easy...

Tom was a great guy and good friend. We go back ,as baseball team mates,50 years. Fifty years of fun filled great memories and not one bad memory. Tom's laughter and kindness will be forever remembered. Oddly enough,even though we hadn't seen each other in some time, Tom was in our thought the day he left.Our heartfelt sympathy go out to Tom's family. Tom may be gone but "THE GRIFF" will be forever remembered and loved.
