We dealt with Tyler on a few projects and really got to know him on a personal level, he was very personable and very got at his job.  Personally we had a lot of interesting discussions on a Varity of subjects  which should he had broad knowledge and a lot of interests. I am very sorry to hear about Tyler's passing. I only knew him for a few months when we worked together in pickering in 2017 but I remember him helping me out during a tumultuous time in my life and I am grateful to have known him for the little time I did. I was in the same program as Tyler at Guelph. While he and I didn't get to know each other on a personal level, I am so incredibly saddened to hear of his passing. We are sincerely heartbroken, saddened and sorry to hear that Tyler has passed away. We would like to offer our condolences to the Main family and friends. 

As the former Principal of HKLA, I first met Tyler when he was still in high school, looking for a Co-Op work placement. He learned the office software, even before he started!  Subsequently he worked for the firm every summer while he was going to university. He worked and learned diligently, with enthusiasm and good humor. Upon graduation he joined the firm as an intern and expanded his voracious appetite for learning to include business policies and procedures. He grew into a natural, consummate, professional Landscape Architect. His dedication earned him a professional designation in Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture in a short time, he did this all with a calm, focused presence of mind. By 2020 he was able to purchase the firm, and he did.

The profession has truly lost an incredibly innovative, giving   and kindhearted professional.

My dear nephew Tyler - words cannot express the impact of your loss. You were a beautiful person inside and out and touched so many lives with your warm heart and caring soul. You lived life to the fullest and were always loving of family and friends. You will be dearly missed,

I have very fond memories of Tyler as our paperboy.  He knew then that he wanted to pursue landscape architecture.  Every Christmas he delivered to our door and to the doors of his customers hot chocolate and a chocolate bar.  This speaks volumes to his incredible family and how they wanted to raise their children.  I can see from his tribute movie that he was always surrounded by friends, the more the merrier.  He was a consummate sportsman and adventure seeker, a successful businessman and someone who had found his soulmate.  He truly lived the dream.

I only just met Tyler recently, and though we barely got to know each other I recognized him as a legitimately good hearted man and one of those sincere people that makes everyone around him a better person. I am in disbelief that I will not see him again, my heart is broken by this sudden loss.

Tyler was an incredible leader, I worked for him for close to 2 years and in that time I learned so much. He always took the time to help me learn/grow within the company. Since I started at HKLA in 2018, Tyler went from being my colleague to my boss. Yet, in my eyes, he was always more than that—a friend and a mentor. Tyler was one of the most intelligent, lively, kind, and beloved people I have ever known. Always a true friend to everyone, he brought joy and warmth wherever he went. Our hearts are so very heavy.  Tyler was a beautiful young man and will be missed by all.  I'm at a loss to express our sadness.  As a family we have so many shared memories of this young man.  We spent many special holidays together and his laughter and love of life was a joy to share.  Playing games around the dining table, laughing at his mashed potato and creamed corn volcanoes and his drawing skills when playing games will be memories to cherish.
