I spent many hours with Vera and George when I was a kid. Her youngest sister, Edith and I were best friends. Lots of fond memories of the Dore family.

My heartfelt condolences to Linda and Bill and all of Vera’s family and extended family, friends and caregivers at Hillsdale Terrace. In Vera’s long life she has certainly left a lifetime of memories for those who knew her. Although sad to see her leave her family it’s wonderful to think that she has now joined her husband George in heaven.

Vera was delightful. Each time I saw her at Hillsdale Terraces, she had a big smile and if music was in the air, she'd be dancing her way along to find a good seat in the auditorium. She thoroughly enjoyed any entertainment that came there.

She loved it when someone said hello and struck up a conversation with her. She brought a lot of joy to family members and residents alike.

You'll be missed, Vera. Rest in peace and enjoy the heavenly choirs now in your midst.
