Peacefully, with her family by her side at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at 96 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Minton Providence. Loving mother of Maxwell, Desilda, Miriam and the late Urmin. Cherished Granny of Max-Ethan, Elton, Alex, Errolene, Delaurette, E.J., Alexandra, Andrew, Cassiopeia, Cleaon, Christopher and Debbie, 16 Great Grandchildren and one great great grandson. Dear sister of Marvin, Cecily, Avis, Brenda and Oswalds. Vera will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday November 9th from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
