Vincenzo Mendicino

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Mendicino at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side on Wednesday February 16th, 2011 in his 86th year. Vince is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Ida, his 3 children Teresa (Don) Leoci, Fiore, Frank and the late Bianca. Vince will forever be remembered as Nonno to his 6 grandchildren Michael, Donna (Russ), Bianca (Len), Ida (Spiro), Teresa, Amanda (Vasilious) and his 6 great grandchildren Daniel, Maddalena, Vincent, Anthony, Sia, and Gabriel. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Hillsdale Estates for years of care and compassion, and all the nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa ER. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W., (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday February 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER CATHOLIC CHURCH (1100 Mary St. N., Oshawa) on Tuesday February 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the SickKids Foundation are appreciated.
