Our deepest sympathy to all the family and freinds. It is with great sadness that we have found out of his passing. We came to Canada the same year and became freinds. I met my wife trough his company and freinddhip. In these early day we spend most of time togheter doing what young people do. While over the years we had drifted apart our friendship had never ceased. Rest In Peace my old freind.

Vincenzo or Vinnie as he was better known has been a longtime family friend.
In many ways like the brother we never had
Our families shared many an occasion together. Including Christmas’s and even vacations in the Caribbean.

If anything was certain, it was that Vinnie was always the life of the party. Whether it was him standing in front of the barbeque, flipping sausages, or sharing stories about his adventures growing up as a young boy in Italy.

His face would light up when he spoke about the time he travelled to Italy, with his at that time girlfriend, Ania, and how he managed to master driving a standard vehicle in rush hour traffic, in Italy of all places. How they travelled the countryside exploring all the country had to offer.

Vinnie also took great pride in his career. He shared many a story about his job, and all the roads and infrastructure he was part of building in and around the Durham area.

I always thought of Vinnie as the gentle giant. He was a fighter in every way. Yet he always had a shoulder you could lean on, and advice you could count on. He made time for family and friends, no matter what.

The world may be a little less bright today. But I believe Vinnie lives on. In our hearts, in our memories, and with that smile that could light up a room.

This is not goodbye my friend, but more like, “until we see each other again”.

Rest in Peace our Gentle Giant.

Dearest Ania, Yolanta, Joshua, Julian, Emily and all the Mottile Family, our most heartfelt condolences to each of you.

I first met Vinnie and Ania 15 years ago. Our friendship became so close that our Families soon amalgamated and became one. We shared Christmases, New years, vacations, just being together and every occasion in each others families.

Vinnie filled the room with his bright and full of life personality. We will truly miss you my friend. A void has been created that can never be filled. You fought hard and valiantly so rest now peacefully with the angels. I'm sure that the same bright smile and huge personality that you gifted to us is now filling Heaven.

May cherished memories, the comfort of family, and the sympathy of friends help to console you in this time of sorrow. Tony and I shared a special relationship with Vince, he was a lifelong friend, the best man at our wedding and was like an uncle to our children. A special thank you to Ania and her children that loved and supported him when he needed them most. He will be missed by all who came to know him.
