A truly wonderful, peaceful, loving, hardworking, gentle man passed away at 96 years of age on Wednesday, December 25th 2013, marking a 73rd wedding anniversary to his beloved wife, best friend and soul mate Phyllis (nee Kelley). Loving father of Marilyn (Stanley) and Richard (Elaine). Cherished grandfather of David (Rosie), Mark, Tim (Kathy), Jessie (Carl), and great grandfather of Steven and Christopher. Dear brother of the late Ray and late Norma Topps. Uncle of Connie (Bill), Sylvia (Vince), Olla, and Alex (Randy). Youngest son of the late Samuel and Irene Gullison. Wendell was a dedicated longtime employee of Metropolitan Stores and Zellers. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday January 4th, 2014 from 1:30 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.
