Alice Kay (Luce) Roy

Alice Kay (Luce) Roy, 82, of Ossian, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, in her home, surrounded by loving family. Alice was born April 15, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Elaine (Stroup) Luce. She was married 65 years to Ralph Robert Roy Sr. She worked at Arby's in Waynedale for a few years, but spent most of her adult life as a homemaker. She kept an impeccable home, raised her children, and was an amazing cook. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her flower beds, going to garage sales, organizing family reunions, and studying the Bible. Alice is survived by her husband; four children, Ralph (Bob) Roy of Ossian, Indiana, Angela (Fred) Adkins of Lyle, Washington, Carrie Relue (John) Raska of Cromwell, Indiana, and Deedra (Matt) Morris of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Luce Taylor; sisters-in-law, Kay Luce; and Ethel Bunsold. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russell "Butch" Luce; sisters, Carol (John) Simerman, Sharon (John) Shull; brother-in-law, Phil Bunsold; sister-in-law, Marie (Bob) Shatzer; and good friend, Judy Burget.
