Betty G. Christensen, 93, of Ossian, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 At Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 1, 1918 in Elmira, N.Y. to the late Arnold and Betty (Petzke) Graner. Mrs. Christensen worked as a registered nurse for 25 years, retiring in 1965. During her work as a nurse, she had been a caretaker for Fred Gibson. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter Joy Reinecke of Lockhart, Texas and a sister, Anna Colburn of Fort Wayne. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a daughter Arna Harris and a brother Charles Graner. Graveside commital service was held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Cemetery.
