Chalmer James Springer, 94, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Westfield, IN. He was born March 6, 1921 to the late Arthur and Minnie Lipp Springer in Ossian, IN. He was a partner in Mueller Vending, F.W. Mr. Springer was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Good Sam Camping Club – Summit City Sams – chapter #19. He is survived by his sons, Danny (Karen) Springer, Norman (Kathleen) Springer, and Stanley (Cynthia) Springer; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Springer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Emmagean Harriett Springer and two brothers, Herbert and Gerald Springer. A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian, IN. Visitation will be from 12-3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
