Christina S. Burton, 56, of Ossian, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her home. She was born in Ft. Wayne on February 27, 1957 to Gerald I. and Arlene L. Gran of Wolcottville. She was the Head Cook at Ossian Elementary School. She enjoyed crafts and putting puzzles together along with spending time with her granddaughters. She is also survived by her son, Coty Burton of Ossian; her daughter, Angela (Ray) Riner of Ft. Wayne; granddaughter, Sophia Riner; step granddaughters Jennifer and Korena Riner; and sister, Nina L. Roach of New Haven. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roland L. Gran. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 with calling one hour prior at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian, IN 46777. Visitation will also be from 2-8 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse, American Cancer Society, or the Family.
