Donna K. Hippensteele

Donna K. Hippensteele, 74, of Ossian, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Donna was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Orville and Della (Springer) Hilsmier. She received an Associate's degree from Ivy Tech, Cum Lade. Donna was an accountant for Brightpoint for over 15 years. She was a simple woman who enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, and gardening. Donna loved her country, Lord and Savior, and her family. One of her proudest achievements was raising her sons to be fantastic adults. Donna shared her love for the Lord and showed love and kindness. She was always friendly and willing to help anyone who needed a hand.

Donna is survived by her sons, Robert (Veronica) and David (Kim) Hippensteele; grandchildren, Kaylynn, Addison, and Abigail Hippensteele, Robin (Blake) Paulie, and Coralee Hire; great-grandchildren, Miaha Rayne, Camilla Renee, Skylar Jayne, and Locke Levilo; and siblings, Ellen Jackson, Ann Marie Voors, and Orville Hilsmier Junior. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, Michael Hippensteele; and siblings, Robert Hilsmier and Annette Bunnell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 16933 Thiele Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Burial to follow the service at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
