Dear "Ruthie" & Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Ed was such a "good guy" and teased me a little when you were dating. I just looked through your photos and enjoyed every one of them, especially your wedding pictures. You will be in out thoughts and prayers and especially at this Holiday Season. Blessings, love and hugs to all of you. Charlie & Joan Wells

Dan and I were saddened to hear about Ed. His family business, Yoder Grain, has been an inspiration throughout the years to many small family businesses and a very important part of the town of Yoder. God bless your family during this difficult time.

Ruth, Greg, Gary, Lisa, Eric & families,
We were so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. I have fond memories of our families vacationing together at various lake cottages and evenings of playing cards. I’m sure dad has the cards shuffled and ready to play! We’re thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. God peace and comfort.

Dear Ruth, Greg, Gary, Lisa, Eric and all your families,
We are so sorry to learn of Ed's passing, and you have our deepest sympathy. Ed and Ruth have been such fine friends and neighbors to us for so many years. We all have fond memories of the card playing gang--Friday nights sitting around someone's table playing Euchre or 3-13, complete with snacks and good natured competition! We were also often the recipient of Ed's focused labor on shelling walnuts--a true treat each time we had them. He had such a sense of decency, droll humor, and love of his farm and family, and will be much missed. He and Jerry can hold down the card table for the rest of us...

Fondly, Wilma & Beth Coleman and Mary Knott

My sincere condolences to Ruth, Greg, Gary, Lisa, and Eric regarding the loss of their loving husband and father, and to all family members who mourn Ed's death. Ed was one of my sponsors which signified a special bond during my youth. Ed was a faithful Christian and a good example for all to follow. He will be sorely missed. God's peace to his family.
