Frederick K. "Fred" Woodward, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son to the late Weisell Brooks and Geraldine (Johnloz) Woodward. Fred worked as a construction superintendent for Weigand Construction. He is survived by his wife, Vera Woodward; children, Frederick Robert (Mary) Woodward, Richard Woodward, and Melisa (Wayne) Lyons; grandsons, William (Cassie) Woodward and Michael Lyons; several great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Woodward. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777, with visitation one hour prior.
