Herbert L. Brammer

Herbert L. Brammer, 80, passed on August 16, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 31, 1945, in Marion, Ohio, son to the late Clarence Paul and Hazel Lucille (George) Brammer. Herbert was a U. S. Army Veteran and worked as a Manager of Electrical Engineering at ITT Aerospace Division, retiring in 2001. He was a quiet, kind, determined and industrious man and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church who enjoyed spending time creating paintings, working with his hands, studying history and science, and exploring the country. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Connie A. (Niles) Brammer; children, Laura (Joe) Carnahan, Carrie Rivera, Kim (David) Hippensteele, Kent Brammer, Jill Brammer, and Mike Brammer; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and siblings, Lonnie (Pam - Deceased) Brammer, Ralph (Sherry) Brammer, Perry (Sue) Brammer, and Steve (Kathy) Brammer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Earl Paul; sister, Gail (Chuck) Miller; and brother, Vernon (Cathy) Brammer. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 16933 Thiele Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at the church at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Mark Lutheran Church Cemetery, with military honors.
