Jane Marie Bearman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Marie Bearman, beloved wife of Roger Bearman and mother of two children. Jane passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family in Granger, Indiana.

Born on July 29, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jane was a woman of unwavering faith, strength, love, and kindness. She was known for her steadfast faith in God, unsurpassed love and loyalty to her family, her beautiful smile and contagious laughter, her immaculate storytelling, and her love for flowers. Her life was a testament to her love and generosity.

Jane was a devoted wife and mother, always prioritizing the needs of her family. She was always a source of comfort, wisdom, and generosity. She never backed down from a challenge and would drop everything to help. She was and will always be our rock.

Jane is survived by her loving children, John (Jennifer) Bearman and Rebecca (Andrew) Gousetis; her grandchildren, Jake, Chase, Emilee, and Reese; and two bonus grandchildren, Tyler and Ethan. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Roger Bearman; and her parents, Paul and Anita Thiele.

A Celebration of Jane’s Life will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 16933 Thiele Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation one hour prior to services. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777.
