John Steven Bodigon, 70, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at his home. John was born August 31, 1954 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son to the late Luca and Goldie (Lamley) Bodigon. John was a graduate of Elmhurst High School and owned and operated his own Home Repair and Remodel business. His son's and his grandchildren were the light of his life, and he was so proud of them. He would talk about his family to anyone that would listen. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, and spending vacations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Surviving is his wife, Michelle (Freimuth) Bodigon; sons, Jeremy (Alissa) Bodigon and Chris (Danielle) Bodigon; grandchildren, Emerson Bodigon, Hayden Bodigon, Rane Bodigon, and Willow Bodigon; and siblings, Jim Bodigon, Mary Ellen Smith, Mickey Bodigon, and Tom Bodigon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Luca Bodigon, Jr., Judy McGuire, and Ann Patten. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
