Joyce E. Vaughn, 80, of Ossian, passed on May 28, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, daughter of the late Harold and Irene (Swaim) Couch. Joyce was a member of Twin City Bible Baptist Church in Marion, Indiana. She had a passion for shopping, going to garage sales, cooking, collecting teddy bears, and exotic animals. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Angela (Bryan) Mayes and Amanda "Mandy" (Christopher) Roby; grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Stevons and Joshua Roby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Vaughn. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777, with visitation beginning at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana.
