I worked with kathy at Children's Corner for a few years. She was like a grandma to me...candy bowl, cared for all children, had all tools to fix anything. She loved being outside always happy and smiling. She loved her family, friends and horses. I mailed her Christmas cards every year. I also recieved my crockpot from her at my wedding use it all the time. She loved lily of the valley and gardens. She was a light in this world. At retirement I sent her an angel. Love her still so very much. She is a wonderful woman whom I have had a pleasure of meeting in my life.

Vanessa, I have memories of you talking about your mom and dad: helping renovate the homes, training/riding the horses, and handling that pesky snake! Your mother has been a good role model for you to mother your own children. Please share with Stacey that you both have been in my prayers in past week. My sincerest condolences to you, Stacey, and the entire family.

Prayers for relief.
Kathy was also pleasant and inviting. My memories include a gathering at her Ossian backyard around Halloween and a campfire that Lyle made. Love you all and you are in my thoughts.

I worked with Kathy years ago at GTE and we reconnected at our group's weekly breakfast. She was such a special person, so sweet and fun-loving. She will be missed.

I worked with Kathy for several years at the daycare. She even took care of my own babies. Kathy was a special lady with a huge heart.
Sending prayers to the family.

We just had breakfast with Kathy and Lyle last week! We had her laughing so hard! She had such a good heart and a good and loving soul. Rest in peace dear friend! We love and miss you! But will see you again in our heavenly home!

We were a Children's Corner Daycare family and Kathy took care of both of our boys. She was an amazing person and we were so lucky to have her at the daycare. When I was a new mom she was one of the ladies that I always looked to for advice and to make sure I was doing the right thing. Those early years would have been much harder with out her guidance.
We are very sorry for your loss and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so blessed to have gotten to know Kathy and have her as an amazing neighbor for 6 years. She was welcoming from the start when we moved in and I already miss her something terrible. She was a wonderful grandma and opened arms to my boys and always encouraged them to call her grandma Kathy. Our lives won't be the same without her. We have Lyle and her family in our thoughts and hearts.
Love,
Derek, MaRissa, Damon, and Landon

The Maloney family will miss Kathy. When Adam was little he thought Kathy was the greatest - not only did she work at McDonald's (then) but she also had horses! The perfect woman! We all loved Kathy for her generosity and her thoughtfulness. She was a wonderful neighbor!
