My Condolences to you on the loss of sweet Louis. I was lucky to have her as a baby sister when my Great Aunt Mary Lou Burkart was on vacation. Lois was such a sweet lady. May God comfort you and peace be with you. Heaven has a sweet Angel in Lois.

I met Lois and Bill at Ossian Nazarene Church. I didn't know who she was. We was new to the church. I attended when I was a child. She looked at me, sat down and said I know your family. Lois lived down the street from my grandfather when they was kids. She went on to tell me stories about my grandfather and her childhood. We got to talk about a lot of things. I will miss our talks. I enjoyed spending time with her. Her and Bill was both amazing people that will be missed.

Sweet Lois has been a wonderful part of my life. She was such a good friend to my mother, Phyllis Fisher. She showed my mother such love and was always a gracious, compassionate Christian woman.
I was so excited to reconnect with her this year. I visited with her in early summer, wearing my mask as she kept telling me it wasn’t necessary. I will truly miss this dear woman, but Heaven has gained such a wonderful woman. Have fun talking to Mom again and hug each other for me Lois!

Lois was such a shining example of what God wants us to be on earth. She always had a smile and good word to share. I interviewed her for my column in the Ossian Sun Riser b/c she had a lot to share about giving to her community and church. That's the kind of people we need. Prayers to your family.

Sonja, Dan, and families, what a loss. I'm so sad for you.
Never have I known a soul that praised God and loved our Lord like sweet Lois. I will smile with each thought of her, she had a joy for living. The Angels must be singing louder than ever as Lois begins her new eternal life. May you find peace in knowing she is with Harold and all whom she has loved.

I am thankful everyday for the impact Lois had on me and my family, especially my granddaughter, Leia. From the time she was born, Lois made me and baby Leia welcome in a group of Godly women which brought Leia to salvation early in life. That influence lead to the salvation of her mother. We are glad we met her.

Lois was much more than a friend; she was family, a sister in our Family of God. She Mothered us, encouraged us, mentored us along the way. She and Bill were a team, as they lovingly watched out for each other and faithfully ministered to us all. We will miss them both, but they left us with such rich, joyful memories.

Lois was a special person to Lee & I. She was one of kind. Her and Bill loved it when we took meals to them and they always said I made the "best" mashed potatoes. When Lee would pick up the plates from Lois she always had a note tucked in Thanking us for the delicious meal. I probably have a 100 notes!
I know they are both rejoicing now that they are together for eternity and thanking God for the good life they both had here on earth.
