Mabelou (Bordner) Rogers, 77, of Ossian, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital. She was a dedicated wife and mother and very active in the Ossian United Methodist Church. She worked many years at the Ossian License Branch. Her husband, Earl, of 59 years survives along with three daughters, Lucinda (Tedd) Hoehn of Morgantown, IN, Earla Sue Rogers and KayAnn (DeWayne) Schmidt both of Ossian; five grandchildren, Todd Hoehn and Raymond Hoehn, and Joshua, Elizabeth, and Brandon Schmidt. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Lester and Lillie Bordner and a brother, Jack Bordner. Funeral service will be 3:30 on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm (noon). Memorials may be made to Ossian United Methodist Church or the Dream Team Playground, Bluffton.
