We will miss mom so much. She was a wonderful, loving mother and friend. We had so many treasured times and memories together.
I know she is in Heaven; with this comes comfort. Because Christ loved us so much, we can know that when we leave this life on earth, there is a much better eternity awaiting. All who receive Christ as their Savior can spend eternity together in the place prepared by our Redeemer and know that these Words were from Him to us. " Fear not, for I have Redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine". Isaiah 43:1 This poem represents what I believe mom is experiencing right now:

From the time I was a little girl, Mary Jane was a favorite of mine. Whether it was a Double reunion or a wedding reception at Lighted Acres, I looked forward to seeing her. She was always so kind and encouraging and interested in each one of us. That was still the case as I was dealing with my mom's failing health a few years ago. Paul would call me sometimes; and Mary Jane would be there with him, adding words of encouragement. I'm sorry that I can't be at the funeral tomorrow, but I will be thinking of all of you. You are in my prayers.

This beautiful lady in the picture, was celebrating her 93rd birthday on August 11th with the people she loved the most, her family. She was the sweetest and most loving person that I have ever met. From the first time I met Mary Jane and her husband Paul they made me feel like I was already apart of their family. Always welcomed me with open arms. I am beyond grateful to be apart of this family and have been able to meet both her and Paul. She will be greatly missed by so many. Love you very much grandma!
