Morris Edward "Butch" Ford

Morris E. “Butch” Ford, 66, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2014 while surrounded by family and friends. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. He was a retired pharmacist and loved to farm. He had a great love of life and his friends and close family bonds are a testament to his beautiful spirit and loving heart. He is survived by his soul mate of 42 ½ years, Sharon; son, Jess Ford and granddaughter, Alissa Ford, both of Heflin, Alab.; daughter, Heather (Brian) Johnson and grandchildren, Jason and Shelby Zirkle, all of Frisco, TX; brother, John (Charlene) Ford; and sisters, Mary Beth (Dwight) Smith, Polly (Kenny) Prince, and Julie (Mark) Hensley, all from Heltonville and Martinsville, IN. A memorial service will be held at Zanesville United Brethren in Christ Church, 3092 West Broadway, Zanesville, IN 46799 on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm with visitation ½ hour prior to the service. Preferred memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation or the Tree of Life transplant center at I. U. Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN.
