Robert David Lorenz

Robert David Lorenz, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 7, 2024, at River Terrace Healthcare in Bluffton, Indiana. Bob was born on December 9, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Lincoln and Catherine (Heinzel) Lorenz. He married the love of his life, Darla (Hunziker) Lorenz, on July 19,1969, and they raised three beautiful daughters together. Bob worked as a computer programmer and retired from AT&T. Throughout his life, Bob had multiple hobbies including but not limited to golfing, beer brewing, guitar playing, and woodworking. He enjoyed getting together with family and was an avid lover of movies and good food. He had a wonderful smile and a laugh that warmed your heart. He will be missed by all whose life he touched. Bob is survived by his wife, Darla (Hunziker) Lorenz; daughters, Debra (Lewallen) Denniston, Denise (Lewallen) Harris, and LeeAnn (Lorenz) Steele. He is also survived by a sister, Kathy (Lorenz) Winter; brother, Richard Lorenz; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other family members. Bob was also preceded in death by his two brothers, David and William Lorenz. No funeral services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be held for immediate family members at a later date.
