Ronald Edward Booker, 69, of Ossian, died Monday, September 17, 2012, from natural causes at his home. Mr. Booker was born October 26, 1942, in Bluffton, to Vernon and Margery Booker. He married Joyce J. (Michael) June 7, 1980; she survives. Mr. Booker worked for Key Fasteners until his retirement. Other surviving relatives include his mother, a sister, Wanda Booker; two brothers, Vern and Gary Booker. Ron had three children from two previous and six from Joyce’s, Kathy, Linda, Mike, Steve, Yvonne, and Clark; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Emerson and Jada. Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his father. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m.Thursdayat the Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home in Ossian. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, at the First Presbyterian Church Ossian with the Rev. Jay Cline officiating. Burial is at Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian. Preferred memorials are to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
