Shirley A. Bean, 89, of Ossian, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. Shirley was born March 31, 1935, in LaGrange, Indiana, daughter to the late Ronald K. and Helen E. (Brown) Noel. Shirley worked as a homemaker throughout her life, caring for her home and family. She enjoyed attending Murray Missionary Church. Surviving are her children, Ronald A. (Katherine) Bean of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Teri (Walter) Klefeker of Ossian, Indiana; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bean in 2001; and her sister, Barbara Ann Carmien. A visitation and gathering time for Shirley will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777, with funeral services following at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
