Susan Riley

Susan “Sue” J. Riley, 70, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Christian Care. She was born on June 16, 1941 to the late Lloyd and Cora (McAdams) Romine. She worked as an office clerk for Carnall Insurance before retiring in 1991. She was a past member at Ossian Nazarene Church and attended Sonlight Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting afghans, ceramics, playing bingo with friends, and her high school women’s club. Surviving relatives include her children, Penny (John) Harrop, Michael (Janet) Riley both of Ossian, Rob L. (Kandi) Riley of Zanesville; siblings, Judy Thornburg of Bluffton, Joe Romine of Upland; grandchildren, Amanda Ewing, Kayla Riley, Ryan Goodpaster, Eli Riley Ari Riley, Ali Riley, and Micah Riley. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Riley, Jr., and step-mother, Helen Romine.

A memorial service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Sonlight Wesleyan Church 2350 S. State Road 1, Bluffton with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
