Vickie Sue Hunteman

Vickie Sue Hunteman, 58, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was born on April 8, 1953 to Rev. Paul R. and Mabel A. (Fruchtnicht) Hunteman who survive. She spent her career teaching art for people with disabilities. She was a member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bluffton. She enjoyed spending time volunteering in the art community in Bluffton, Muncie, and Indianapolis. She also enjoyed walking her precious dog, China and spending time with friends and family. Besides her parents, she is survived by siblings, Rev. Paul Barry (Kay) Hunteman of The Villages, FL, Linda (Mark) Pillar of Columbus, IN, Jane (Tim) Kunkel of Bluffton, Christine (Dan) Hunt of Craigville, Karen (Tim) Krinn of Uniondale, Mary (Mike) Blair of Bluffton, Lisa Sweet of Ossian; 16 nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by a brother, Dennis Hunteman and a nephew. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5912 Sugar St., Uniondale with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-5 and 6-8 on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Uniondale.
