Dr. Hyzer was my first dentist.  Now that I'm in my 40's, I have always wanted to apologize to him for biting him upon my first visit to him when I was three years old!  :)  Then as the years went on, and I saw how nice he was, (and with the lure of getting to go in the office "Treasure Box" when I was through!) I relaxed through the rest of my childhood and teenage teeth cleanings!  My condolences to Mrs. Hyzer and to Rudy and the rest of the family.  He will always be part of my childhood memories in Oneonta, and I was sorry to see in the paper that he had passed.

Aunt Charlotte and family, I will always have fond memories of homemade ice cream and croquet with Uncle Jarvis at Hyzer family reunions. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs Hyzer,

I appreciate the years Dr Hyzer was my dentist and the fabulous work he did for me. I'll always remember Dr Keegan saying, "If you had anyone other than Jarvis I would not advise doing these crowns".  I always dreaded the day he would say, "I'm retiring". Of course they were bittersweet words. There's never been another "Jarvis". 

I'm thankful for your years of retirement and wish there could have been many more. May God bless you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Charlott,
So sorry to hear of Jarv's passing.
As a classmate of "Jarv" for many years, we shared a common bond all thru Dental School. After graduation,we all traveled in different directions, but the fond memories of our times together, for those four years, will always bond us.
