Sara Ann Hunt

She was born April 13, 1944 in West Point, New York the daughter of the late Edwin H. Hunt, Sr. and Mary (Miller) Hunt.

For many years, Sara was a seamstress at Sanyo in Oneonta until their closure.

Sara was a member of the Otego Presbyterian Church, Otego.

Sara is survived by her brothers, Edwin H. Hunt, Jr. and his wife, Jenny of Colonial Heights, VA and John D. Hunt of Otego; one nephew, Patrick D. Hunt and his wife, Rose of Petersburg, VA as well as several cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 34 River Street, Otego from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Douglas Horne Pastor of the Otego Presbyterian Church officiating. Memorial donations in Sara’s name may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
