Sharon M. Belcourt

She was born October 29, 1950 in Danbury, Connecticut the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Rosenkranz) Rayner, Jr.

Sharon married David Belcourt, Sr. on February 14, 1970 in Bethel, Connecticut.

She was the assistant manager at the OG Food Service Cash and Carry in Oneonta for several years.

Sharon was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, David Belcourt, Sr. of Otego; two children, Regina Huch of Unadilla and David Belcourt, Jr. and his wife, Alina of Otego; nine grandchildren, David and Derick Hamilton, Sharon, Stacey and Maycala McCall, Samantha, Stephanie, Laurel and Lillian Belcourt; four great grandchildren, Savanna, Mackenzie, William and Ethan Spain; two brothers, Brian Rayner and Joseph Rayner, III both of Texas; sister-in-law, Colleen Belcourt of Otego; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 34 River Street, Otego from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with the Reverend Fred Albrecht officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in the Otego Evergreen Cemetery.
