They moved to Cunningham, Washington, to farm with Beverley’s stepfather in March of 1967, and in the latter part of 1968 moved to their current location.
Beverley was very content being a mother and wife. She loved flowers, especially roses. She enjoyed planning and managing the planting of her garden and then watching it grow. She was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed musical theater, attending all of the performances put on by the Othello Theater Guild, as well as traveling to Spokane to see off-Broadway productions. She always enjoyed decorating for Christmas, her favorite time of year.
Beverley will be remembered as a huge Gonzaga sports fan, especially basketball. She never missed a “Zags” game and often made the annual trek over to Seattle to attend the “Battle in Seattle” with various family members. Beverley was a loving and caring person, ready to help others, and always grateful for any act of kindness she received.
Beverley was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ross of Othello; her son, Keith (Sandy) of Othello; her daughter, Heather (Jim) Harrington of Lake Forest Park, Washington; her stepsons, Jay (Peggy) Brown of Lewiston, Idaho, and Steve Brown of Spokane; stepdaughter, Avis Brown of Spokane; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
