Carmen Marichalar Suarez

Carmen M. Suarez, age 86, of Othello Washington passed away November 11, 2013 at Avalon Care Center in Othello. She was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico on January 19, 1927 to her parents Victoriano and Elisa Marichalar. Carmen worked as a laborer for the processing plants; Chef Reddy and Carnation of Othello, and Lamb Weston of Connell. Carmen’s primary job however was as a mother and homemaker. She was an incredible cook and had a passion of gardening. She was survived by two of her children, Rodrigo Suarez of El Paso Texas, and Ruth Suarez of Othello Washington. She is also survived by her brother Victoriano Marichalar of Nuevo Leon Mexico, and Leonor Sanchez of Harrah Washington. Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rodrigo Suarez, and three children; Roberto, Raymond, and Mary Suarez, and siblings; Jesus Marichalar and Petra M. DeLeon. A viewing will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm, November 14, 2013, at Stevens Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 am, November 15, 2013.
