Helen Peppler Reichert

Longtime Othello resident, Helen Peppler Reichert, passed away on April 30, 2014. Helen was born on October 15, 1918 in Kimball, Nebraska, to John and Elizabeth (Kniss) Andreas. She attended school in Kimball. She met Henry Peppler in Mitchell Nebraska, 1935. The couple married in November 26, 1938, in Bayard, Neb. They moved to Othello in 1967, where she was an at-home mother. Since living in Othello Helen has been a member of the Othello First Presbyterian Church. She also bowled, quilted, played golf and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law Bob; a daughter-in-law Wanda and her step sons Gene and Jack. She is survived by her sons Jack (Patty) Peppler of Othello and Jim Peppler of Tulsa Oklahoma, her daughter Sharon Johnson of Cowley, WY, two step children: Bob (Donna) Reichert of Othello, Florence Reichert of California her daughters-in-law BJ Reichert of Othello and Dorothy Reichert of Othello, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
