Hilda Martinez Valdovinos

Hilda was born in Rep Del Oriente, N.L. Mexico on July 11, 1946 to Viviano and Ignacia (Pruneda) Martinez. She moved with her family to the US in 1956. She traveled the harvest with her family until settling in Othello in 1963. She married Salvador in Othello on February 25, 1983. Hilda went to work for Chef Ready which became Carnation then Nestles. She retired in 1997.

Hilda enjoyed the gardens that Salvador created for her. She always wanted to look her best, and so every day even if she knew no was coming over she still would do her hair and makeup. She loved spending time with her dog Rocky. She was known as the peackeeper of the family, always making sure she knew what her family and friends were doing and stepping in to help if they needed it. She will be remembered as a very loving person that touched many people in her lifetime.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Ignacia Valdovinos. She is survived by her husband Salvador of Othello, her son Jesus (Angela) Valdovinos of Othello, her brothers Salvador (Maria Reyna) Martinez, Ceaser (Adalia) Martinez, Rene (Aurora) Martinez, Apolinar Martinez and a sister Irma Villa all of Texas.
