Father of Michel (Anne Kennedy), Mary Beth, Anne Grebenc (Joe), Jayne (Nevin Murray) and Harry (Cindy Freeborn). Brother of Laurette Sparling (Ross), and pre-deceased by his brother Roger and sister, Yvette Cox. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Born November 8, 1925 in Temiscaming, Quebec, Albert served overseas in the Second World War. He returned home, married his sweetheart and raised his family. He built a long and successful career in the pulp and paper industry in Temiscaming, Gatineau and Montreal, retiring to Ottawa in 1995. Tennis was his sport, cribbage was his game and wood working was his passion.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in his home town of Temiscaming, Quebec.
