He was the son of the late William Ayotte and Claudia Charron. Husband to the late Teresa Poulin, brother to Jacques (Hélène), Rollande (Siméon) and Lucille (Yvon).

André reunites with his late son André Jr, and beloved daughter Lise. But in sorrow leaves behind sons Denis (Nicole) and Gilles. His grandchildren Alain (Laura), Roxanne (Todd), Ginette (Roby), Crystal (Alexandre), Angel (Travis) and Patricia. Great grandchildren Maxime, Katia, Dominik, Zoey, Joshua, Sébastien, Alexis and Alayna. As well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Robert, Pierre, Francine, Serge, Jean, Daniel, Claude, Micheline, Richard, Roland, Thérèse, Sylvie, Claire, Yolande, Loulou and Patricia.
