Anona Menard

passed away on April 22, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Pauline Dempsey. She also leaves her wife’s son Jason Dempsey (Elisa Martino), her adorable grandchildren Damian and Arianna, her dear animals Angel and Rainbow and her in-laws: Heather and Pat Corbett, Claude Babineau (Vicki Fraser), André Babineau (Elsie Hubbard), Philippe Babineau (Jonathan Papineau), Daniel Babineau (Linda Clark)-George, Lily Babineau (Joseph Halden)- Bella. She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews: Sarah and Adam Glen, Sonya Gourgon Owens (Shawn), Eric Gourgon (Jennifer Stewart) and Gabriela, by her grandnieces and grandnephews: Deklan, Shawndra, Savion, Jalen, Caleb and Simone. She will also be missed by her best friend Lorraine Proulx (Larry). Predeceased by her sister-in-law Simone Babineau. Thanks to vital air Nelson Lagasse (Aussie) (misty Laluna) and Leanna McKinnon. Thanks to everyone at the co -op Ross Lamb and family, many thanks to Debbie Mitchell Brenda Bigras, Monica McDonald and to father Michael, Annette Coughlin and Glenda Larabie many thanks to the west wing doctors and nurses at General Hospital. In Memory of Anona, donations to the Canadian cancer Society would be appreciated. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 6, 2017 à 11 a.m. at The Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica 385, Sussex Dr. Ottawa.
