Antoun Baliki

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Antoun Baliki, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the age of 82 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Beloved husband of Siham Bouz. Loving Father of Bachar (Marie Halal) of Syria; Sami (Stefanie de Melo), Maria of Montreal, Canada. Cherished grandfather of Zayn Baliki. Caring brother of Samir (Aida Rahal) of Ottawa, Canada; Pere Georges Baliki, Raymond (Youmna Nasraoui), and Emile, Dr Nabil (Jacqueline Hanna), all of Lebanon and Leila (Late Antoun Hayek) of Syria; predeceased by Ibrahim (Victoria Oneid) of Ottawa, Canada, Honein (Marie Kahla), and Amal (the late Dr Fouad Mattar) of Syria. Dear brother-in-law of Toni, Lulu (Sam), Fadia, Joe (Mary-Ann), Amid Bouz. He will be dearly missed by his nephews, nieces, family and friends in Canada, Lebanon, Syria, United Kingdom and the United States.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Complexe Funeraire Aeterna et Crematorium, 55 Rue Gince, Saint-Laurent, QC. and on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa, Ontario followed by the funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, donations to The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Montreal or Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ottawa, would be appreciated.
