Born June 7, 1927 in New Toronto to Ormal Brouillard and Harry Drennan. Passed away on August 23, 2015 in Ottawa as a result of complications after surgery. Survived by her husband of 68 years, Albert; her five children: Michel (Anne Kennedy), Mary Beth, Anne Grebenc (Joe), Jayne (Nevin Murray) and Harry (Cindy Freeborn); and her sister Naomi Sweet (Charlie). Predeceased by her sister Marilynne Poles (Bruno). Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Thursday, August 27 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, August 28 at 11 am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive, Ottawa. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
