Suddenly, at home in Carp, on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack; loving mother of Michael (Jean), Linda Higgins (the late Lewis), Anne Colombi (Eraldo) and John; cherished granny of 10 and great granny of 12. Dear sister of Fran, Anita, Art, Ed and David. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Agnes. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Wednesday, March 19 from 12 noon to 1 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Church of St. James the Apostle, Carp, Ontario K0A 1L0 would be appreciated.
