Brandon W. Jones passed away on May 27, 2022 in the city of Ottawa at the young age of 26 years. As we forever celebrate and remember his life. A cultured and life impactful Jamaican-Haitian son, brother, and friend.
The first-born to Ingrid Jean, son of Windel Jones, older brother to Olivia and Makayah Jones, younger brother to Jessica and Jodie Jones and Phillip Koorshian, the south side made and family-based, a connoisseur of shoes and fashion, music head bopper, the ladies' man, an avid gamer, an opinionated foodie, a gym goer on the rise, a brewing business-minded and spirited man but also a memorable person to us all.
Brandon silently battled colon cancer with the support of his family and friends. He passed away alongside his loving mother, holding her hand, on his hospital bed. He has gone to rest in heaven, joining his and our loved ones who have gone before us.
Brandon had a way of being a tremendous supporting life force. He was either there when you needed him or he went out of his way to be there.
The best way to honour and remember Brandon would be to hold on to every memory he was present for. It could be from work environments, academic years, recreational and leisure events, and even from the lingo used amongst us all over the phone or in person. We will also remember Brandon's great entrepreneurial ambitions for fashion, particularly in footwear. A stylish man.
As Brandon has accepted his savior the Lord Jesus Christ, here is a verse for us all to try and live by as we celebrate his time with us.
"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." 1 Peter 4:8-10 ESV
Brandon W. Jones, we will lovingly remember you.
