Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Loving son of the late William James Butler and A. Marie Butler (nee Shaw). Loving father of Michael Butler (Maria) and Brendan Butler. Beloved grandfather of Ashly Lyn Butler. Survived by his brother Barry Butler (Barbara)and his sister Deborah Vetter (Scott) and their children Sarah, Savannah and Adam. Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 613-737-7900. Interment will be in the family plot at Notre Dame Cemetery.
