Casimir is survived by his daughter Maria Kalina Emilia Tiley, his son-in-law Hugh Kenneth Tiley, his grandchildren Alba Maria Kalina Tiley, Jan Hugh Edward Maria Tiley and Adam Frederick Casimir Plater-Zyberk, his great grandchildren Belén Emilia Truijens-Martinez and Isolde Mercedes Truijens-Martinez, his daughter-in-law Kristin Plater-Zyberk, née Waylett and his sister Elizabeth Tyszkiewicz.
He is preceded in death by his wife Isabella Krystyna Plater-Zyberk née Janecka and his son Edward George Maria Plater-Zyberk.
Casimir was born on the family estate in Pilica, Poland on June 16, 1922. A true Polish patriot, he served with distinction in the Polish army and the Polish underground in the Second World War. In Canada, Casimir worked tirelessly on behalf of the Polish-Canadian community and the Roman Catholic church.
He will be buried at the St. Sauveur-des-Monts Cemetery.
