So sorry to hear of the loss of father and grandfather my condolences to you all. Charles was over the moon when he became a grandfather. Charles was a long time colleague with me at CRA and Shared  Services Canada . 
We shared many long discussions of work and family . He was a very dear friend. He was a great colleague and was always willing to lend a hand and always full of life and fun.
We shared many memories together and laughs. I’ll miss our time together but you always will be with me in my thoughts. You’re one in a million.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of  my employee Charles Cook, As the Manager for  EBIDM in Shared Services Canada within Government of Canada. I can attest to his unwavering dedication and professionalism just through our few recent virtual meetings. However I never had the privilege of meeting him in person, it is clear from his remarkable contributions and the praise from his colleagues that he was an exceptional employee.

Charles was a very kind and nice man. Although I did not work directly with him, I did have occasion over many years to converse with him and it was always a delight. 

I have to be honest, I was completely blown away when I found out his age. Wow! If everyone had the work ethic of Charles, the world would be a much better place.
