Peacefully, on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Pumple); loving father of Marilyn Taylor (Neil Anderson), Sheila Brisson (Richard) and Anita Gardner (Stephen). Much loved grandfather of Amanda and Adam Brisson. Dear brother of Anita MacDonald. Predeceased by his brothers Roland (Margaret) and Gerry (Ruby). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and members of the Square and Round Dancing Association of Ottawa. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Tuesday, November 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday, November 9 at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary’s Church, 7 Fairbairn Avenue. In memoriam donations to the Karen Taylor Nursing Research Endowment Fund-Ottawa Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
