Passed away on September 14, 2011 at the age of 60. He was the son of Lorenzo Bastien and the late Mariette Lalonde. Beloved husband of Rita Bastien (nee Osborne). Loving father of Nathalie (Paul), France (Daniel), Stéphane (Gina) and Roxanne (Alain). Cherished grandfather of Sebastien, Rebekka, Nicholas, Jacob, Zakary, Geneviève and Isabelle. Dear brother of Claudette (Noël), Pierre (Doreen), Pierrette (Pierre) and Maurice (Monique). He also leaves in sorrow many nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank the Ottawa General Hospital for the good care provided. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday September 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Parish (435 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). The family will be receiving sympathies from 10 a.m. at church.
